I’m a musician, producer, and sound engineer with a diverse background in the music industry. From 2010 to 2019, I was the drummer and one of the founding members for Shell From Oceanic. I’ve also worked as an intern at the now-defunct Estúdios Sá da Bandeira and co-founded the audiovisual label turva with Alexandre Alagôa. In addition, I’m one half of the electronic music duo AG.R97, alongside Pedro Pimentel (Wordclock).

Since 2017, I’ve been working as a freelancer out of my studio, Agueiro, in Vila Nova de Gaia.

My approach to music is rooted in a deep exploration of rhythm and genre fusion. As a drummer with nearly two decades of experience, I’m fascinated by the transformative power of rhythmic elements and their ability to redefine a piece of music. I’ve worked across a variety of genres, from Folk and Jazz Fusion to Technical Prog and Experimental Music, and I’m always eager to push the boundaries of musical forms.

As a producer and sound engineer, I’m dedicated to helping artists find their unique voice and shape a sound that’s distinctly theirs. I understand the complexities and frustrations that come with the creative process, and I aim to provide a supportive environment where artists can feel understood and empowered. My priority is always to listen not just to the music, but to the musician behind it, and to share in the journey of bringing their vision to life.
